Reliability is always important in web hosting, but doubly so in adult content. You are in the trade of media, and that hogs a lot of bandwidth, so you need to make sure that you are going with a host that can handle thousands of megs of activity per second all throughout the day.

• Security
Security is important as you are going to be providing password protected content to users who would, generally speaking, like to keep their activities discrete. We have all heard stories of people hacking profiles on adult sites and using them to blackmail. Whether or not it is a real threat, it is not something that your customers want to worry about.
